Exocrine Pancreatic Tumors
An exocrine tumor affects the exocrine cells of the pancreas and accounts for 95% of pancreatic cancers. It is usually described as a malignant tumor (cancerous). There are many types of exocrine tumor. Ductal adenocarcinoma is the most frequent type of exocrine pancreatic tumor which accounts for 80-90% of all pancreatic cancers.
